About the Challenger LC (Classic)
The original Challenger showed up in 1970, two years late to the muscle car wars, and made up for lost time with a 440 Six Pack V8 and paint colors named after tropical diseases: Plum Crazy, Go Mango, Sublime. At 1,680 kg with 390 hp, the Challenger was a straight-line weapon and a corner-avoidance system. The E-body lasted four years before emissions regulations killed the formula.
