Three two-barrel carburetors on a 440 cubic-inch big block. 390 hp in 1970, when horsepower was cheap and insurance was about to get expensive. The Six Pack Challenger was the ultimate expression of the E-body muscle car: fast in a straight line, terrifying in a corner, and painted in colors that dared the police to pull you over.
