About the Skyline GT-R R33
The middle child. The R33 was bigger, heavier, and more refined than the R32, and enthusiasts punished it for that. Unfairly. It was the first GT-R to lap the Nürburgring under 8 minutes (7:59, driven by Dirk Schoysman in 1995), its chassis was stiffer, and the ATTESA system was improved. But it looked softer, weighed 1,540 kg, and sat between two cars that became cultural monuments. The R33 is the GT-R for people who actually drive theirs.
