About the Fit
The Fit was Honda engineering distilled to its purest form — maximum usable space in minimum external dimensions. The Magic Seat system alone justified the car's existence. Fold the rear seats flat for a cargo floor. Flip them up for tall items. Fold everything and you had a van disguised as a subcompact. Honda's packaging engineers treated the Fit like a puzzle, and they solved it better than anyone else in the segment. The GE (second gen) was the sweet spot — 117 hp from a 1.5L i-VTEC, a manual gearbox option, and handling that made the car feel faster than its numbers suggested. The GK refined everything further. Both were cheap, efficient, and absurdly practical. Honda discontinued the Fit in most markets by 2023 because crossovers. The HR-V replaced it on paper, but not in spirit. On Revnut, the Fit's rankings reflect a car that proved small doesn't mean lesser.
