About the Passat

The Passat is Volkswagen's executive sedan — the car that splits the difference between a Golf and an Audi A4 and does it well enough that both segments should be nervous. Since 1973, the Passat has been the autobahn commuter's choice: comfortable at 200 km/h, frugal on the diesel pump, and built with the kind of solidity that makes you close the door twice just to hear the thunk.
